With the release of the new Steam client version on June 4, 2026, we'll be updating how Warspear Online accounts are linked to Steam. These changes are intended to improve account security and ensure the proper functioning of in-game purchases.
Going forward, the following rule will apply:
In other words, each Steam account can only be linked to a single Warspear Online account, and each game account can only be linked to one Steam account.
If you're launching the Steam version of Warspear Online for the first time after the update, you'll be prompted to either create a new game account or sign in to an existing one. Players who have already used the Steam version before won't see any additional authorization window – after entering the game, the existing game account will be automatically linked to the current Steam account. Please note that once the update goes live, you won't be able to manually remove or change the Steam account linking through your game account settings.
Please double-check that your current links are set up correctly before the changes go live.
